Magnus the Red

Now that I've set your expectations for exactly what kind of asshole you're dealing with: Magnus is a powerful telepath. Rather than simply reading and transmitting thoughts, he is capable of directly influencing the nervous system to alter emotions, cause hallucinations, and create a variety of other effects impacting both the mind and body. This is not going to be a permissions post asking about those applications, because I will never use them on a player character without prior discussion!

Instead, I would appreciate having the following information:

As implied in the excerpt above, Magnus really doesn't make a habit of reading people's thoughts, both because he understands it as a violation of privacy and because he honestly doesn't care that much about what other people think. However, in situations where he believes it isn't safe to speak openly, he may initiate a psychic conversation! Please let me know if you would rather I avoid this with your character.

2.
Does your character have cybernetics implanted into their nervous system? If so, this may limit the amount of influence Magnus can have over them! There's intentionally some flexibility written into this limitation, so that if it does come up we can plot out what seems like the most fun result at the time — but, basically, for my reference I'd like some idea of what kind of cybernetics your character has and how deeply integrated into their nervous system those cybernetics are, to make things easier if I ever do approach you on the subject.
